We are the Nazarchuk family—a big Ukrainian family of 11! Vadim was the beautiful surprise that completed our family of 8 kids. Vadim has Down syndrome, and like so many others with Down syndrome, he is full of joy and light. He’s incredibly social and truly thrives when he’s surrounded by people. He loves Jesus, basketball, and music—and if you know Vadim, you know he takes pride in being a hard worker. At home, he knows exactly what his responsibilities are and sticks to them with impressive dedication. He especially enjoys helping his dad and brothers with yard work and landscaping—it’s his way of contributing and being part of the team. Everyone who meets Vadim is impacted by his vibrant personality. He has a way of making people feel seen, loved, and inspired—just by being himself.
